Aye has gone. But there are plans afoot for it to be replaced with concrete by summer 2010. Don't hold your breath though.....

the skatepark was finally finished...and we had a good time as the skaters in caerphilly had been waiting for years for this park. We've recently found that it's going to be demolished and as it is illegal to skate anywhere else in caerphilly, we have nothing left.

The skatepark is behind Caerphilly leisure centre. Go through caerphilly on the one way system so the castle is on your left, straight on at the trafic lights and soon you will see a big yellow Netto sign. Its the next right after that signposted to the leisure centre. Go through the housing estate and you will find the leisure centre and skatepark
